She has a passion for helping children and their families obtain genetic services in a compassionate, effective, and timely fashion, which led her to Lineagen as its first genetic counselor in 2010.

Rena is originally from the Midwest (rural Illinois) but loves the outdoor opportunities Utah has to offer! In addition to being a genetic counseling professional, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons at numerous Utah attractions!
